We got some terrible news today from our vet. Greta's cancer has returned. She is having surgery next Tuesday to have the tumor removed from her hip/hind leg. Once it's removed, they will be able to give us a grade/stage of the cancer and determine what treatment options to consider.
We are hoping and praying that it is a localized tumor, and has not spread. Please send a prayer up to St. Francis, patron saint of animals, and to the Duke of Weimar, too, for good measure!
