Carpenter Curtis

To keep stray cats, Greta, squirrels, and other wildlife from plundering our bounty, Curtis was tasked with building screened enclosures for the garden beds. Despite a crazy work schedule, he managed to sand, screw, saw, glue, varnish, and screen the frames over the past two weeks.

And viola! Here are the masterpieces! Aren't they lovely?
Now, we just need to hope that my non-green thumb can actually produce something! The indoor seedlings are in sad shape, so I won't share a photo (it's pathetic enough that it might make my gardening-expert father weep). However, despite chilly, damp weather, our outdoor snap pea seedlings are doing beautifully.

And our first tulips are even beginning to open! Let's hope that means that spring sunshine is soon to follow!
