The first of the September birthdays

While the Buck family's April birthday crew still trumps all others, the September crowd is gathering steam. Ryan and cousin Liesl joined the ranks last September, and sweet baby boy Uff is expected in the next few weeks. 

Our September birthday boys gathered for a photo op when we celebrated Papa's 65th birthday this week to gobble up fresh produce from his garden and Sitka salmon, as well as delicious German chocolate cupcakes. And these guys all claim their matching orange garb was a coincidence! As if. 

Papa ran 6.5 miles on the morning of his 65th. And he's departing for a week of time in the saddle at the annual Cycle Oregon ride. Now THAT is something to celebrate! Happy Birthday to our dear Papa.
