First Communion

Our big joke with Fr. Rob was that the wedding weekend would be full of sacraments...and it was! Between Liesl's baptism and the Clark wedding, Fr. Rob was busy. While we were there, Mary was missing her first communion back at home. We entertained the thought of asking Fr. Rob to also help with a first communion, but we didn't want the Loeb grandparents to miss out on the occasion. 

So, with great understanding, our parish held a special first communion for Mary yesterday. It was truly a wonderful mass-- Fr. Nathan introduced her at the beginning of the service, and his assistant Karen was Mary's guide through the process.  Definitely a sweet morning to treasure.
