Since September, we have been tallying the days when it's too rainy for Mary to ride her bike to school. We call it the Drench Report.The Grand Tally since September (drum roll....) is: IV.
Yes, four. That's it. Honestly, I think we can change the name from the Drench Report to the Friend Recruitment Project (i.e. Move North and Join Us Tally). Portland is not all that dreary or rainy, really. At least, not yet. It's snowy, chilly, sometimes overcast, often damp, but we get many more blue-skied days than anticipated.
As evidence, I submit a snapshot of our trip to the park yesterday. The sunglasses were for utility, not a prop for the picture, I promise.

We had such fun today with the Loeb girls... and we think the weather here in Oregon is great (so far!).
