Evil Knievel

So lots of you are moms and dads. Lots of you think you know about busy kids. Well, I invite you to take the Lucy Litmus Test. Spend ten minutes with our little Lucy and I guarantee you'll be thanking your lucky stars that your kids are so calm! This kid puts the"b" in busy!

Lucy sees a set of drawers, and uses the handles as the rungs of a ladder as she finds herself standing on top of it. Swivel chairs....better than the rides at the zoo! Lucy sees Greta's food bowl and thinks it's snacktime. The toilet? A place to flush things and watch them disappear. She routinely wakes up from naps now completely naked because she's decided it's fun to undress herself. Today, she used a chair to climb to the counter and somehow changed my entire laptop's language to some form of Chinese. In less than 20 seconds. We can't turn our backs on her for an instant. Well, we can, but we never know what we might find. The world is a dangerous place for our little daredevil.

Don't get me wrong-- she's amazing, energetic, smart as a whip (already knows how to count to ten and can sing the alphabet for goodness sakes!). But boy is she busy!
