Last fall, Mary had her first sleepover at Emma's house. Tonight, the tables are turned and sweet, delightful Emma is at our home for a sleepover. And you can't have a sleepover without making slumber party cupcakes. The girls loved decorating the little treats, and of course, devouring them after dinner.
Mary made a sign for the guest room in anticipation of Emma's visit, and predictably, little Lucy had to make sure she was included in the fun by adding her name. The big girls welcomed her to join them in the guest room, but Lucy ended up deciding she would rather sleep upstairs closer to mama.
Of course, here it is at 10:15pm, and they are still entrenched in another slumber party tradition: giggling instead of snoozing. Hopefully the giggles will turn to snores soon...if not, well, this is what summer is all about!!
