Today is National Runner's Day. Who knew? Well, apparently, the apparel company "Lucy" did because they sent me an email to celebrate the day. Anyway, their email got me thinking about running... You'd think I wouldn't experience too many "firsts" with my third baby. But, this is my first pregnancy where I'm still running as I enter my third trimester. Now, when I say running, I ought to clarify that my "run" has become more a slow, trudging shuffle. But, I'm out there. That's what counts, right?
And, speaking of out there: I just have to give props to my sis Amy, who is 5+ months along now, for completing a half-marathon this weekend. Yes, that is 13 miles with a 5-month fetus in tow!! But, as anyone who knows Amy knows, she's always been a bit of an overachiever... way to go, Aim!
Oh, and one more sibling shout-out. Thanks, Ry, for the shirt....as you can see, I grew into it!
