Now we are six

Mary celebrated her sixth birthday on Tuesday. She had a wonderful day, first celebrating at school. All of her classmates gave her a birthday necklace, each saying a wish for her as they strung their chosen bead onto her necklace. Then, she came home for a little celebration of cupcakes with a few close friends, and pizza afterward with Gram and Papa Buck. All in all, a big day of activity for our big girl. Six years old. Good grief. When did we enter warp speed?

The secret is this fabulous book called, "Hello Cupcake!" It was a gift from Amy, and let me tell you, the instructions are so easy to follow that anyone (clumsy me included!) can make adorable cupcakes. It only took me 30 minutes to frost three dozen of these pups. I highly recommend it!
